A form of high intensity interval training, s a strength and conditioning workout that is made up of functional movement performed at a high intensity level.
These movements are actions that you perform in your day-to-day life, like squatting, pulling, pushing etc. Many workouts feature variations of squats, push-ups, and weight lifting that last for predetermined amounts of time to help build speed, strength and stamina. This varies from a traditional workout that may tell you how many reps to do over any period of time.
The workout each day may utilize different equipment, including kettlebells, barbells, dumbbells, rowers and bikes, medicine balls, jump ropes, rings, plyo boxes, and many more.
Workouts can be adjusted in weight, intensity, and certain mechanics to scale to the experience and fitness levels of any individual, be it a total fitness beginner or seasoned athlete.
Our classes are designed to be constantly varied, meaning everyday is different so you never get bored. All workouts are based on the core movements of life, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, rowing and more.
All of our Group Classes are coach-led and follow a planned progression roughly 60 minutes in duration and follow this basic structure:
A certified coach will guide you through warming up, followed by movement instruction and demonstration for the workout of the day. The Coach will supervise and correct any movement performed by you during the workout. After it ends, you can cool down and record your time/weight/score for the day in our Dilworth Fit app where you can track your progress over time.
